Many of us are perfume lovers, and it’s fab to discover new scents we haven’t tried before. I think my interest in fragrances probably came from my love of botanicals and their scents since my younger years, and later working as an aromatherapist, as I love to discover the different notes that make up each blend. Recently, I was delighted to try some new fragrance samples with a Perfume Society subscription box, available for all fragrance lovers to sign up to.
Perfume Society Subscription Box ~ ‘Eau La La’ Discovery Box
This box looked so chic when it arrived, packed with samples of perfumes plus a couple of other beauty products that feature fragrance and it feels uber Parisienne. I was pleased with the amount of samples in the box and each one has a product card, with an image of the full-sized product on the front. On the back of each card, are the notes and story about the fragrance/product, really interesting if your keen to know the notes and story of a blend and its scent.
Also included (pictured below), is a book of fragrance tester strips, great for taking with you on a shopping trip for a perfume. There are many of them in the booklet, handy for spraying scents in store, then putting in your pocket to re-sniff when you get home. The front of the booklet has the Perfume Society’s bottles emblem on the front, I feel this is a nice touch to add this in a fragrance discovery box.
In the box were 2 L’Occitane products ; a mini of their No.1 best selling 20% shea butter hand cream, plus, a 7.5ml bottle of their fresh The Vert & Brigade fragrance (pictured below). Also included, was a £10 voucher to spend with L’Occitane, (sadly I forgot the expiry date due to weeks of headaches, so lost out on the offer).
Below shows Balmain Ecstatic, a beautiful oriental fragrance which comes in a 2ml phial sample.
Next up is a 2ml phial of one my all time faves, Agent Provocateur’s original signature fragrance, a really feminine eau de parfum with a sensual vibe, and a powdery dry down.
The below image is a beautiful little 7ml bottle of Fragonard Soleil. I’d not come across this before but was impressed with the pretty bottle design and blend of fragrance.
Next up won my heart, a 2ml phial of Miller Harris l’air de rien, a beautiful Neroli blended with some gorgeous deep notes. I have to say this has almost gone, as I’m a fan of Neroli as an oil and this is an exquisite blend.
Below showing a 2ml phial of Shay and Blue Blood Oranges, a beautifully uplifting citrus blend. The notes in this make it ideal for summer wear in the daytime.
Next below, is Atelier Cologne Bergamot Soleil in a 2ml phial. This is an interesting blend of citrus and floral notes that give a delicious warm, fruity summer scent, and a postcard is included about the scent to send to a fellow fragrance lover.
The below image features Lalique Amethyst Éclat, a brand that produce exquisite fragrances, this one being a fruity, berry scent in a 2ml phial.
Next is Carven ma griffe, a long standing scent from the brand. This is a floral blend with deep and fairly strong overtones, yet a powerful feminine fragrance.
Last up, is a sample from German beauty expert Judith Williams, Rose Oil from her Lifelong Beauty range, rich in antioxidants and Vitamin E. Great for nourishing skin underneath a moisturiser or, as a night treatment elixir, this 10ml roll-on is a beauty lovers bonus within the box.
I was really surprised at the amount of products and interesting information, plus extras, that the Eau La La box provided.
