Rose Gold Party Hair | Infuse My.Colour Wash

Calling all fellow rose gold lovers… now you can get this pretty colour effect in your hair, to go with your accessories. Just in time for the holidays and any upcoming parties! Like pumpkin spice, rose gold is a key shade for this season, so if you fancy a colour change with a twist, why not go rose gold? It is also popular among celebs including Gigi Hadid, Nicki Minaj and Kylie Jenner…oh, and little old me! Check out deets on the ‘how to’, plus more info, along with my results.

Infuse My.colour Wash shampoos were created by Denis & Rob, owners of UK brand My.Haircare. These vibrant colour washes contain NO sulphates, parabens or silicone, and are 100% Vegan friendly, to refresh colour, revive tones and add vibrancy to coloured hair.

Although these are not as messy as home hair colourants, treat them as you would hair dyes regarding your bathroom and textiles. Being partial colourants, be aware that they may stain clothing and textiles, and bathroom tiles will need a wipe, as these are packed with pigment.

Instead of washing colour out of your hair, why not wash it in?! These fab Infuse My.colour Wash shampoos are available in shades Ruby, Copper, Gold, Cobalt & Platinum. I have been using the brand on and off since back in the Spring, and have been happy with the results. Now using a bit of mixology, I am getting different effects that are amazing!

Below…Check out those pigments! L – R : Gold, Ruby, Copper

Infuse My. Colour Wash Shampoo ~ Copper, Ruby, Gold £13.95 ea.for 100ml

These shampoos have delicious fruity fragrances, and infuse colour by locking it into the hair shaft, and smoothing the cuticles. I find if you have product build up, you may need to use a little of your usual shampoo through the ends, then use the colour wash twice, either all over or where you want to add tones.

Below images : Check out some of the different effects I have achieved over the last couple of months, using My.colour Wash mixologies.

My hair colour is brown but I had some highlights & balayage over the summer, so I achieved these affects using Gold and Ruby, Gold & Copper, plus Copper & Ruby

The Copper formula will help upkeep the brightness of the following hair colours ; Copper (obvs), Auburn, deep Strawberry Blondes and warm Browns. Plus, it will add warm/peachy tones to bleached hair.

Ruby is fabulous for all redheads, red browns, deeper burgundy and plums. It will also create striking pinks to bleached/blonde hair, and when mixed with copper or gold will achieve similar tones.

Gold will add peachy tones to blonde or highlighted hair.

To use : Apply a generous amount to wet hair, shampoo evenly throughout the hair. Then rinse and repeat. Follow with your usual conditioner. Use each hair wash to achieve your desired effect, then switch back to your usual shampoo for a while.

So, to achieve the Rose Gold look, just use a bit of mixology by following the instructions below…

1. Wet hair, and shampoo with Copper.

2. Rinse.

3. Apply ‘3⁄4 Copper to 1⁄4 Ruby’ into hair.

4. Rinse and dry.

Top Tip : If you want the rose gold to be more pink, add more ruby, if you want the rose gold to be more golden with a slight tinge of pink, add more copper.

Peachy Golden Elements‘ is another look this season, which may become a fab asset or accessory with your little black dress for that party!

1. Wet hair, and shampoo with ‘1⁄2 Copper & 1⁄2 Gold‘.

2. Rinse & Dry

Top Tip : Keep in mind that more copper produces more peachy tones when mixing.

Whatever you want to mix, these shampoos produce real pops of colour in the hair!
