Seasonal Style Must Have – Leather Ankle Boots

I don’t know about you guys, but as much as I love summer, the autumn/winter season brings rich colours, snuggly clothes and seasonal fashion faves. When it comes to style favourites, for many, ankle boots are a must have accessory, especially a stylish, comfortable black leather pair. These from Vionic, for me, are ticking all the boxes!

Australian brand Vionic have been available in the UK for the last few years, and seem to be more fashion focused each year. These stylish ankle boots from their A/W range 2017 are the biz! Vionic were founded by Phillip Vasyli, a Podiatrist for over 30 years, who in 1991 invented the world’s 1st award-winning orthotic Orthoheel. If you are tired of getting aching feet and legs from footwear, this brand aim to put a stop to all that with the support and comfort they provide. With their FMT technology, each sole provides arch support helping keep legs in alignment, in order to prevent and alleviate pain. Using high quality materials, they provide trend led corrective footwear for the fashion conscious, with a range comprising of insoles, sandals, shoes, boots, trainers and slippers.

The insole is removeable, so it could also be used in another shoe

I find these so comfortable, plus they look stylish and go with the majority of my wardrobe. I find I can wear with them smart trousers, skinny jeans or leggings. They would even look good teamed with the right dress or a skirt. The rubber soles are good as I need grip in the wet, especially with my weak ligaments with Fibro. Plus, the insoles help give me correct alignment which I need as my ankles over pronate. Our feet are curvy not flat, so supporting the arch is important to protect the ankles, knees and hips. The bonus with Vionic, is not only do they have orthotic insoles, but they are a high fashion footwear range.

I am totally in love with these boots, not only as they are comfortable, but are stylish with an edgy look. The leather is so supple, and they only needed a few short wears to get them feeling perfect. As with all Vionic shoes, you simply need to wear them for a half an hour or more for the first few times to get used to the insole, but once you do, you won’t look back. I have several pairs now and will continue to add to my collection, of which you can see more here and here. I highly recommend this brand, especially if you cannot stand hard, flat footwear and foot pain. It is definitely worth checking out their wide range.
